The recent E. coli outbreak has prompted the Food and Drug Administration to warn consumers to not eat fresh spinich.
On top of that, the FDA warned California farmers nearly a year ago about the safety of their produce.
Don't worry, Popeye is safe. As we all know, he only ate canned spinich.
