Ilegal Body Parts Found in Oklahoma

NewsOK.com has filed this story:
CUSHING -- A Cushing woman says she's concerned that a cadaver bone put in her neck during surgery might have been acquired illegally.

An indictment filed last month accuses a New York biomedical company owner and three other men of forging death certificates and organ donor consent forms to acquire organs and sell them to unsuspecting tissue suppliers.

The body parts in question allegedly were sold by Biomedical Tissue Services of New Jersey to tissue suppliers and have been tracked to several states, including Oklahoma.

Priscilla Loveland says she's received a letter from the Food and Drug Administration notifying her that the bone could be a part of the alleged scam.
Wonder if they will try to recall her neck bone.
