Men: Avoid Most Multivitamins

Nutrition tip for men:

Most multivitamin formulas contain more iron than men need. They should instead take a "senior" formula that has little or no iron; 8mg or less.

Men who eat an iron-fortified breakfast cereal will have already covered their daily iron needs. Taking more iron than one needs will raise the risks for a variety of conditions, including some that are potentially serious.
