Brain Injury Victim Wins Lawsuit Against Hunter

A pregnant woman who suffered a traumatic brain injury from a bullet fired by a hunter has won her case against the hunter and the landowner.

The jury hearing the lawsuit brought on behalf of Casey Kantner, who was represented by attorney Joel S. Rosen, found that the hunter, Craig T. Wetzel, was 90 percent negligent and the landowner, Daniel W. Haas, was 10 percent negligent.

A separate jury will decide the amount of damages.
