Store-Brand Acetaminophen Caplets Recalled

The Food and Drug Administration alerted the public to a voluntary recall of generic acetaminophen caplets manufactured by Perrigo Company of Allegan, Michigan.

The FDA published a list of the batch numbers affected and encouraged people to check their bottles of the pain reliever against the list. The caplets were distributed under the store-brand names of Wal-Mart, CVS, Safeway, SuperValu and more than 120 other major retailers.
